Lilac (Syringa Mill.) Is a genus of about 20 species of flowering plants belonging to the family olive (Oleaceae).
The natural area of distribution of the genus are parts of southeast Europe and Asia Minor.
Flowers from April to May.
Lilac is a small tree, up to 10 meters.
Stems are put up to 30 centimeters in diameter. The leaves are heart-shaped him most. The flowers usually appear in spring, each flower has a size of 5 to 10 millimeters.

Default color of flowers is purple, but can also appear pink, white and yellow, or even the color maroon.
