Dog rose - Rosa canina – powerful antioxidant, rich with vitamins C, P, B and K
Dog rose - Rosa canina - is a wild rose species native to Europe, northwest Africa, and western Asia. It is a branched bush high up to 3 meters, overgrown with thorns. Sometimes it can scramble higher into the crowns of taller trees. The leaves are heartily elliptical, serrated and the flowers are usually pale pink or white. The fruit (Rose hip) is with a reddish color, 1-2 cm in size.
