Hemp-agrimony – Eupatorium cannabinum

Hemp-agrimony (holy rope) – Eupatorium cannabinum is a herbaceous plant of the daisy family, that grows in humid areas, besides forests, roads, and streams. It is native to many areas of Europe.

This herb has a tall stem with many leaves that are light green and the flowers are petty, colored from red to violet, on the top they form a dense mass of flowers which after the blossoming transforms in catkin.

In traditional medicine, Hemp-agrimony is used against female infertility and hemorrhage of any type. It is also used in cases of an increased level of cholesterol, diseases of liver and gall, fever, hepatitis, and jaundice. Hemp-agrimony is used for the treatment of wounds that difficultly heal.
