Mallow – Malva silvestris

Mallow – Malva silvestris (common mallow) is a vigorous plant with showy flowers of bright mauve-purple, with dark veins, standing up to 1 meter high and growing freely in meadows, hedgerows and in fallow fields.

The root is very strong and the leaves are palm-shaped and placed on long stems. The flowers are numerous with a light purple color. This plant grows along the roads and in the vicinity of settlements.
